The 4th LLM Task Force Workshop, organized by European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), will take place in EFSA’s headquarter in Parma, Italy, April 7 – 10, 2026. The workshop provides a platform for international regulatory authorities to discuss key issues related to Large Language Models (LLMs) and collaborate on their application and regulation.

Exact times and locations in Parma will be communicated early in 2026.
Stream 1: Applied Data Science
A "Collabathon" will be held to develop practical LLM projects. The aim is to create actionable prototypes for regulatory use cases.
Stream 2: Regulation
Discussions will cover topics such as data protection, security, federated learning, international collaboration, and TREAT principles.
There is no registration fee. Participation is limited to government agencies.
Monthly online sessions will continue in preparation for the workshop. These are held on Wednesdays at 13:00 GMT, and participants will receive invitations in advance.
